[51] original manuscript leaves with Folding hand colored manuscript map. Folio (12" x 8") bound in quarter calf with four raised spine bands with gilt lettering to spine over brown cloth with gilt lettering to cover and bind-stamped decorative edges. Hand colored manuscript map, 16" x 20"

A packet of documents involving claims to a Zacatecas mine involving Lieutenant Colonel Manuel de Abreú. Most noteworthy is a large color plat map showing the disputed territory. It names the "Mina de San Christobal" and "Mina de Gachupi[ne]s," with a lowercase "a" and "b" denoting a disputed corner point in the main lot.

Condition:

Minor wear, 3 short tears at folds of map else better tan very good.
